California-based defense technology company Opto-Knowledge Systems Inc. (OKSI) is expanding into Jacksonville with a $5.4 million manufacturing facility, creating 200 high-skilled jobs in engineering, manufacturing, AI, and systems integration over the next three years. Groundbreaking is set for August with operations beginning later this year, further strengthening Central Arkansas' growing defense corridor.
