New Arkansas Permit Now Required for Hiking, Paddling on Some State Lands

A new Arkansas Game and Fish Commission permit, effective July 1, requires non-hunters and non-anglers to pay $10.50 to hike, paddle, bike, or birdwatch on select wildlife management areas and lakes. State parks, national forests, and Corps of Engineers lakes are exempt.
